Bravo!    What a masterpiece!

A sampling of Judy's artwork.

Paula's delightful watercolor.

Karen's artwork, done with color pencil.

Capturing the distortion of glass...Gerri's task today.

No brush needed for flowers today.  Betty used a paper towel.

An Ohio farmland photo by Bill

Despite the threat of bad weather, a few of us braved the elements and spent some time critiquing these lovely images.  Bill is not visible, because he is behind the camera.  And, a warm welcome to Annette, who joined us for the first time.

Lee's yummy Pan Pastels & the floral painting
she is working on today.

Gerri, choosing from her collage supply
collection.

The very, very beginning of a new collage,
playing with different textures.

Well, Old Man Winter seems to have caught up with us today.  The weather
reports were a bit scary, with predictions of weather and road conditions
going "down hill" as the day progressed.   In spite of those reports, three
of us ventured out for a morning of painting.  You can see
Lee's pastel in the photo, above.  Gerri and I continue to "play"
(translation:   learn/experiment) with collage.   Each week we
are reminded there is so much to discover.

Hopefully, next Wednesday will bring a break in the winter
weather we've had this week, and more folks will
rejoin us at the Center.

Wednesday, February 3, 2016

As you'll see, today we worked on a variety of projects.
Gerri is creating beautiful ethnic Folk Art.

We had a "full house" today.  Welcome back, everyone!

It was great to see Dave again.

Judy, back from her world travels, is starting a new color pencil project.

You know the saying, "all work and no play"?   We don't work all the time!
Judy and Karen.....at play.

Chris decided to work with her knitting today.  "Hats off" to people
with good eyesight...look at the size of those
tiny needles.

Everyone will agree...it was nice to have Lee
join us again.

Our group couldn't have been complete
without Paula.  So glad you were here.

Donna's color pencil landscapes are awesome.

Welcome back, Mary Ann.   We can't wait to see
your completed watercolor painting.

One nice thing about us all getting together is the sharing
and socialization among friends.

We'll finish up today's blog by posting another colorful
alcohol ink painting (on Yupo) by Linda.

As you can see, we don't alway work on the same project every week,
or in the same medium.  Please feel free to drop by on Wednesday mornings
from 9am until noon and join in the fun.
