We welcomed first-time visitor, Marsha, to our most recent critique.  Our group continues to grow, and, as you can see, our body of work is becoming even more diverse and interesting!  This is such a fantastic group, willing to share their art and their ideas.  If you haven't been to one of our critiques, please consider stopping in.  We meet the second Monday each month, and you are welcome to come and share your artwork, or simply observe.  We hope to see you!

Kathy's acrylic painting depicts an
early spring brook side.

Here is an OOPs on my part.  This is Chris's drawing
of her puppy from our last meeting in April.

Marsha is working on a floral sketch for planning her
composition.

Louise is working on a new sketch.  As you can see, she has her
authentic visual reference at her fingertips.

Chris is working on a pastel drawing of serene swans.

Donna is starting a new plein air scene that leads the eye
into the composition through a curved fence.

Bonnie is just waiting for the frame to be delivered.

A Note from Bonnie:

Welcome, Kathy and Marsha!  It is always great to add new
members to our group.

My next project is to obtain catalogs from art
supply companies to have a collection
for our group.  Please let me know if
you would like a catalog available
from a particular company.

Also, don't forget about our art exhibit at
the library and the information we need to
give to Lee.  (due May 15)

See you soon!

Bonnie
