As always, many thanks to everyone who participated in today's critique! We had a bit of fun this morning. My abstract painting (middle of blog) was painted, and presented, as it shows in the first photo. However, when we turned it upside down, the unanimous decision was that it was a better image that way! Also, George frequently brings in photos that he is considering using for paintings. The first photo and the last two photos of this post are George's. The group gave various suggestions for editing the photos for paintings. Then, George consulted with Fred Graff, and the bottom photo shows how Fred altered the image. Won't it be interesting to see what George comes up with?
