Hi Vintage Artists and Friends!

As you can see the Vintage Artists have been busy.

The autumn has brought more members in on Wednesdays.

We have a new member and a returning member

at the Brunswick Rec meetings.

We are meeting now!

Vintage Art Wednesday workshop, 9:00 am until 11:30 am.

Second Monday Critiques, 9:30 am until 11:30 am.

Please note:  At this time there are no Covid-19 restrictions at the

Brunswick Rec Center.  Just use your judgment and good sense.

Second Monday Critique, November 8, 2021

 

We had another lively critique this month.  It is exciting to see the 

participation of two new faces as well as our regular attendees.

Some of the work presented this month represent current endeavors. 

 Some represent ongoing journeys in our art. 

As with Bonnie last month and Dave's sketch this month, 

we are re-examining work that we did 

                                                       in our teenage years.  

Art presented at different times in our lives

   is a valuable reflection as well.

Second Monday Critique, October 11, 2021

                                                                                

The Second Monday October 11 Critique was attended by 5 of our artists.  We had a lively critique with discussion that aimed to provide direction to the presenting artists.  We hope to see more members for the next critique on Monday, November 8, 2021.

Dear Vintage Artists,
    I had a few technical issues this month.  If you sent some work to my email and you don't see it
please send it to me again.  I will gladly put them in this month.  Thank you!
    Also, I had a few ideas for the 2nd Monday critique.  I found some questions that might be
helpful to develop more directed statements.  I will put the questions on separate cards and you may chose one or more questions.  This is an option and worth a try.  So try to come for the 2nd Monday critique on October 11, 2021.

Example question:  Can you describe how the artist uses texture in the art?
