Gerri and Karen discussing watercolor techniques

A somewhat smaller group today.  Some just decided to take the day off, others were painting en plein air.  But, we had a successful morning, as you can see from the beautiful artwork.  And, we even had a few good laughs.

And, today's STAR...alcohol inks!
Well, Betty created quite a stir with her alcohol inks at yesterday's painting session.  She was experimenting with using them on Yupo and, as you can see, the effects were stunning.   One more exciting, fun, way to create!

Many thanks to Betty for taking the photos this week.  Nice work!  Isn't it great that we are now able to paint at this location on the first three Wednesdays each month, throughout the entire year?  It gives those who don't want to paint on location, a place to practice their skills with other artists on a regular basis, and it provides a place for those who paint en plein air to paint during bad weather.

A special thank you to the Brunswick Recreation Center, and Kimberly Corrigan for providing this space.
