Art in the Age of COVID 19...
Our painting group has been unable to meet because of the current situation, and we don't know when the recreation center will again be available to us. We have been informed that September is a possibility, but only a possibility. In the meantime, we have been staying at home, being safe, and painting! Our critique group has been meeting online using Zoom, and it has been nice to be able to keep in touch and see one another monthly. But, we would still like to be able to share our art with a wider audience.
SO, until we can again meet on a regular basis to paint, we are going to begin posting photos of artwork that our members have created during this most unusual time. Stay tuned...

Vintage Artists Activities, February 2020

2nd Monday Critiques, February, 2020
Our February critique included some pleasant surprises. First of all, we welcomed Michele, today. Although Michele has been active with the Vintage Artists, this was her first visit to critique. And, Jane surprised us with the painting that is heading this post. This is a new, experimental venture for her. And, quite successful! Dave has also been experimenting with creating texture with acrylic and plastic sheeting. Of course, all the work is special in its own way. There is great diversity in style, medium, and content of the work produced by this group. I believe we all have something to learn and also something to share.
