We had a cozy little group for our last July painting session, but as you can see, we got a lot accomplished.  All of our paintings are progressing nicely and, hopefully will be finished by the time we meet in July.

We had a good group today, with some fantastic art displayed and critiqued.  It is always interesting to see each person's interpretation of a subject.  Whether a painting or a photograph, it always bears the signature of the artist in terms of style and presentation, and we all benefit from the willingness of each of us to share our work and also our thoughts about the art presented.

Five of us gathered last Wednesday to experiment with different media and techniques. We always seem to learn something from these sessions, and sometimes we have pleasant surprises .  We learn what works and what doesn't work.  And, we learn to enjoy the process.

Although we had a small group this week, we had a lot of fun.  Abstracts were obviously on the menu for the three of us!  Lots of experimentation and excitement about the colors and designs that were created.
